Our students have arrived in Windhoek, with big smiles on their faces! The group is in Windhoek until tomorrow morning, when they will drive out to our field camp, Wereldsend, in the Kunene Region of northwestern Namibia. There they will finish orientation, begin exploring their desert environment, and will soon start their field work in communal conservancies. They will spend most of the program working with local game guards to monitor wildlife.
We are happy to have a new group of eager students in Namibia, and look forward to the semester ahead! Keep an eye on this blog for more photos and updates during the semester.
