Our five students arrived in Maun on Monday afternoon. We’ve spent the past two days covering orientation materials, meeting researchers and collaborators, and learning about the history and culture of Botswana. Tomorrow morning we head out to our first field camp, north of Maun near the village of Sankuyo. We will be assisting communities with wildlife monitoring this term, and are excited to get out and get started!

Keep an eye on the blog for more photos and updates!
